Working at height in schools
Make sure your staff feel confident in how to work safely at height in school. Use this course to address misconceptions about working at height, and teach safe working practices and equipment use.
Who it's for
All staff
This course covers:
- What ‘working at height’ means
- How to work safely at height
- The equipment you might use when working at height
- How to safely use and store a stepladder
This course is designed for those members of staff who don’t routinely have to work at more extreme heights (e.g. up on the school roof or on scaffolding). Those staff may need additional training to ensure they’re working safely in more dangerous situations.
We want our training to be a positive experience for all learners. If you have any access needs (for example, a visual impairment or dyslexia), please let us know to see how we can help by contacting [email protected].
