By the end of this course, you'll be able to:

  • Explain why creating an inclusive culture is a shared responsibility for all staff, not something a policy or a single role delivers alone
  • Identify unconscious bias in everyday school situations, such as running meetings, grouping pupils, giving feedback, and how colleagues treat each other
  • Apply simple, practical steps to reduce bias and act inclusively in everyday interactions
  • Respond to behaviour that isn't inclusive by speaking up or challenging it, confidently and constructively

This course goes beyond legal compliance to focus on what inclusive behaviour looks like day to day. If you'd like the legal detail behind it, take our Equality Act 2010 course too.
